Marc van Dooren

Marc van Dooren has a strong background in finance and has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Marc started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1999 as a Manager, where they were responsible for executing annual account audits and managing multiple teams. Marc then moved on to become the Finance Director at Cellarmaster wines Europe B.V., a privately owned company specializing in distant selling of fine wines. In 2011, they joined Burger King Corporation as the Finance Director, where they were also responsible for Finance & Control and IT. Marc later became the Head of Finance at Specsavers in 2016. Marc has a proven track record in financial management, internal control systems, and strategy financing.

Marc van Dooren has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics (Drs. - Msc.) from the University of Amsterdam, which they completed from 1992 to 2000. Marc also obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA equivalent) degree (RA) from the same university, studying from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, Marc attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in 2011 to pursue a Diploma in International Financial Reporting (IFR) as part of their ACCA IFRS Course.
