Daniel Sodja

Director Of Software Engineering at Spectra Logic

Daniel Sodja started their work experience in 2006 at Rockwell Collins, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they developed software defined network capable radios for mission-critical applications. Daniel then became a Senior Technical Intern, assisting in the development of a knowledge-based solution for large-scale emergency response. In 2010, they joined LGS Innovations as a Senior Software Engineer, implementing cellular network data protocols and mobile network control software.

In 2011, Sodja joined Spectra Logic as a Senior Software Engineer, leading a team responsible for implementing robotics control software for tape libraries. Daniel later became a Software Architect, providing project management support and focusing on redesigning the tape library software. Daniel then served as a Software Engineering Manager, managing a team responsible for robotics control software and providing project management for substantial software releases.

Currently, Sodja is the Director of Software Engineering at Spectra Logic, leading the engineering department for tape library software and emphasizing high performance team building. Daniel manages projects across various technologies, including RESTful Web Services, React, Redux, Go, C++, C, Kotlin, Linux, Windows, web, embedded, and desktop.

From 2003 to 2006, Daniel Sodja pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.
