James Fox

As Spectra’s Vice President of Operations, James oversees all Spectra operations worldwide, including manufacturing, business processes, supply chain and quality assurance. James has been with Spectra for seven years, and previously held management positions at Spectra in Sustaining Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing.

Prior to joining Spectra, James worked for Cooper Lighting for more than 10 years, most recently as Strategic Sourcing Manager overseeing six departments including purchasing, planning, inventory control, shipping, receiving and warehousing. Rising in the ranks over the years at Cooper, he also held P&L responsibilities, managed multi-facility moves and consolidation, introduced and released new product lines in operations, transitioned manufacturing plants to new ERP systems, and managed Lean Six Sigma programs.

He is certified in Lean Six Sigma and earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University.
