Maegan Deare

Maegan Deare currently serves as Vice President Legal at Spero Therapeutics since June 2024. Prior to this role, Maegan held significant positions including Senior Director of Corporate Legal Affairs at Blueprint Medicines from May 2022 to May 2024 and Vice President Legal at IFM Therapeutics from June 2020 to May 2022. Maegan's experience also includes serving as Corporate Counsel at Foundation Medicine and Finch Therapeutics Group, as well as working as a Corporate Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP. Maegan began the legal career as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Carol S. Ball at Suffolk County Superior Court in the summer of 2010. Maegan earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University.
