Purpose of Position:

The Fleet Administrator will work on diverse key initiatives that are tasked to the Fleet and Equipment Team within the Spiniello Infrastructure West, Inc. group.  This individual will make recommendations that will be critical to the organizations current and future projects as well as ensuring that any risks are mitigated through strategic and tactical planning.

  • Fleet Administrator will assist in administering and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations and understands OSHA, DOT, and CA State fleet specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of equipment, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting.
  • Coordinates equipment related repairs by preparing the work orders from Fleetio.
  • May assist in safety training and communication programs.
  • Maintains inventory management of vehicle parts and consumables and database of drivers.
  • Supports the fleet group day to day operations of the department, including scheduling meetings, and organizing files and correspondences. Act as the point of contact between the fleet East and West group.

Position Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Accounting background is a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge of computerized inventory record keeping, including basic electronic data processing and cost accounting techniques.
  • Logistics experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to utilize and understand computer software, including Fleetio, HeavyJob, Office 365, TimberScan
  • Microsoft Office Skills required, specifically Excel and Word
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
  • A sense of urgency for all tasks required
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and a continual improvement attitude
