Jim Devine

Jim Devine has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Jim began their career as an HR Development Officer at BAE Systems in 1992 and then moved on to Ford Motor Company, where they held various positions from Supervisor of Human Resources to Head of HR for Dagenham Manufacturing Operations. In 1996, they joined Ford Motor Credit Company as an HR Business Partner, where they supported the European Sales Director and launched businesses in multiple countries. Jim then returned to Ford Motor Company and took on roles such as HR Business Operations Manager for Finance and Head of HR for the Heating Service & Repair division at British Gas. Jim also served as the Group HR Director at Centrica plc and Chemring Group PLC, where they played significant roles in HR strategy and organizational development. In recent years, Jim has worked as a Consultant at Devine Interventions and as an Advisor on the HR Ready Programme at Enterprise Ireland. Currently, they hold the position of Group HR Director at Spirax Sarco Engineering PLC, a multinational industrial engineering group. Throughout their career, Jim has demonstrated expertise and leadership in HR strategy, talent management, and organizational development.

Jim Devine received their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics & Biotechnology from the University of Strathclyde in 1992. In 1994, they pursued a postgraduate degree in HR at Glasgow Caledonian University, which they completed in 1995.
