Ross Barry

Ross Barry is currently the Chief Investment Officer at Spirit Super since September 2020. Prior to this role, Ross worked at First State Super from September 2010 to August 2020 as the Head of Systematic Investments. Before that, Ross was at Watson Wyatt Australia from September 2008 to October 2013, where Ross served as the Head of Portfolio Construction. With a Ph.D. in Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Economics with Honors in Economics from the University of Newcastle, Ross Barry has extensive experience in portfolio construction and private markets manager research, advising some of Australia's largest superannuation funds.
