Larry Callaghan has a wide range of work experience in the technology industry.

Larry started their career in 1977 as a Sales Account Manager at Burroughs, where they sold computer systems to Fortune 500 companies. Larry later focused on selling hospital information systems to medium-to-large hospitals in Chicago.

In 1981, they joined Tektronix as a Sales Account Manager and Specialist, selling engineering computer graphics displays and workstations. Larry later became a sales specialist for Teknicad drafting software and workstations and was the top sales rep in the US for this product.

From 1983 to 1985, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Ramtek Corporation, supporting various technological systems.

Larry then joined Digital Equipment Corp in 1985 as a Systems Engineer, where they supported government and government prime contractor customers for all DEC products. Their expertise was focused on workstations, VAX/VMS, Unix, computer graphics, and imaging.

In 1993, Larry started working at Sun Microsystems as a Senior Systems Engineer, providing pre-sales systems engineering and consulting support to channel partners and end customers. Larry also developed and delivered training on new products and technologies and mentored less experienced SEs.

In 2003, Larry moved to Oracle as a Technical Account Manager, managing the support experience for State of California major projects. Larry also served as a Customer Success Manager and a System Services Delivery Manager during their time at Oracle.

Larry then became self-employed in 2018, working as a Customer Success Manager.

Larry joined Synoptek in 2019 as a Client Technology Officer, responsible for IT leadership, management, and development of the customer technology roadmap. Larry managed all aspects of the customer relationship and interfaces between customers and Synoptek.

Currently, Larry is working at Splice as a Technical Account Manager, where they specialize in providing IT solutions and infrastructure management services to clients.

Larry Callaghan attended St. Joseph High School in Westchester, IL, but their education history does not provide specific start and end years or degree information for this institution. Afterward, they pursued higher education at the Florida Institute of Technology, where they studied Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from 1972 to 1973.
