Ryan Vila

Ryan Vila has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ryan currently works as an Enterprise Account Executive at Split, where they focus on using data to build more effective products. Ryan collaborates with engineering and product teams to create an automated feedback loop that helps them understand the impact of their code on their application and business.

Prior to their current role, Ryan worked as a Principal Solution Architect at Split from 2018 to 2021. Before that, they were a Principal Systems Engineer at SOASTA from 2016 to 2018 and a Senior Systems Engineer from 2013 to 2016.

Ryan also served as the VP Solution Engineering at Warde Associates, Inc. from 2012 to 2013. At Jive Software, they held the position of Senior Engagement Manager from 2011 to 2012, where they focused on adoption and customer success for Fortune 500 accounts.

In their earlier career, Ryan worked at HP Software as a Client Principal from 2007 to 2011, managing a $6M quota for accounts in the Health and Life Sciences industry. Ryan also held the role of Sr. Manager WW Sales Go-To-Market at HP Software Professional Services in 2009.

Additionally, Ryan gained valuable experience at Mercury Interactive, where they served as an Engagement Manager and Solution Architect from 2001 to 2007, driving software services and sales for strategic accounts. Ryan also worked as a Systems Engineer from 1999 to 2001, providing technical support and positioning for Mercury QA products.

Prior to their career in technology, Ryan worked briefly as an Assistant Instructor of Networking Design at American InterContinental University in 1999 and as a System Administrator at Hella Inc. in 1998, providing IT support and help desk services.

Ryan Vila holds a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from American InterContinental University, which was obtained from 1998 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Berry College from 1994 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Ryan Vila has obtained several certifications, including "Level 1: Experimentation" and "Level 1: Feature Flagging Foundations for Engineers" from Split, both obtained in February 2023. Ryan also holds an ITIL certification, although the institution and date of obtaining this certification are unknown.
