Bob Scheld

Vice President, Engineering at Sporcle, Inc.

Bob Scheld has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Bob started their career at Adobe Systems, Inc. as an Engineering Manager and worked there for nine years. Bob then moved on to Corbis, where they served as a Principal Engineer, designing and prototyping various applications and plug-ins. Bob also developed ActiveX controls for Corbis to integrate their consumer image archive into Microsoft Office applications. After Corbis, they joined PictureIQ as an Engineering Manager and later became a Consultant at Kodak (formerly Ofoto), providing support to engineers regarding PictureIQ technology. Bob continued their career at Mobliss as a Technical Lead before joining Yahoo, Inc. as a Consultant for Yahoo Photos. Bob then worked as an Engineering Manager at PhotoWorks, Inc., and later at American Greetings. Currently, Bob holds the position of Vice President, Engineering at Sporcle, Inc.

Bob Scheld attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1981 to 1985, where they studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Bob received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) upon completing their education.
