Louise Hartley

Louise Hartley has over 10 years of work experience in the legal field. Louise is currently working at Sport England as the Head of Legal, a role they have held since September 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior In-House Lawyer at Sport England from March 2019 to September 2019. Before joining Sport England, Louise worked as an In-house Counsel at the Phone-paid Services Authority from September 2017 to March 2019. Louise also worked as a Lawyer at The Nursing and Midwifery Council from January 2015 to September 2017. Louise started their legal career as a Barrister at 15 New Bridge Street in October 2009, where they specialized in crime, immigration, and regulatory law. Louise has also worked as a Paralegal at Hickman & Rose Solicitors from May 2008 to September 2009. Additionally, Louise gained valuable experience as an Intern at Arizona Capital Representation Project from February 2007 to May 2007, where they researched and drafted briefs and motions for capital cases. Louise began their career as a Barristers' Clerk at 5 Stone Buildings from October 2002 to June 2003.

Louise Hartley completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at King's College London from 2003 to 2006. Louise then pursued further education at the College of Law in London, completing the Bar Vocational Course from 2007 to 2008, focusing on the field of law.
