Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a minor in Business from Western University in 1990. In terms of additional certifications, they became a Chartered Accountant from the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1995 and later achieved the status of Chartered Professional Accountant from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2013. Furthermore, they received a C.Dir (Corporate Director) designation from the DeGroote School of Business - McMaster University in 2022, and they are currently pursuing a GCB.D (ESG Designation) from Competent Boards, with an expected completion year in 2023.
