Wim van Roy

Wim Van Roy is a Senior Product Owner at Sportradar since July 2023, where responsibilities include bridging internal development teams and external stakeholders while guiding product vision and roadmap in an agile environment. Additionally, Wim co-founded XVision in September 2015, specializing in custom prescription winter and safety goggles designed for extreme conditions. Previously, as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Linkus from April 2021 to June 2023, Wim facilitated connections between freelancers and companies through a smart platform. Prior experience includes roles as a Batch Annealing & Roll Shop Process Engineer and Technical Consultant at Tata Steel in Europe, a Strategy Consultant for Beaulieu International Group, and HR Student Employee positions at Tibotec. Wim holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Vlerick Business School and two Master's Degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
