António Nascimento

António Nascimento has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. António is currently the Head of Engineering at Spotted Zebra, where they are focused on solving the skills-gap crisis. Prior to this role, António held the position of Lead Technical Architect at Moneyfarm, where they were responsible for defining and documenting the target technical architecture and providing architectural guidance to the engineering and product teams. António also served as the VP Engineering at Property.Works, overseeing the company's overall architecture and leading the development team. António has also worked as a Senior Scala Developer at Springer Nature and Tech Lead at rightmove.co.uk, where they implemented various projects and led agile development teams. Earlier in their career, António held roles as an Agile Java Developer at BSkyB and a Senior Consultant at NOESIS Portugal and SIBS, where they focused on architecture design and Java development. António began their career at Capgemini and AGAP 2 as a Senior Consultant.

António Nascimento completed their education from 1996 to 2002 at the University of Lisbon, where they obtained a Licenciatura em Informática (Bachelor's degree) in Information Systems. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their professional career, including "Strategic Thinking" from LinkedIn in November 2022, "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera in November 2012, and "Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer" from Oracle in October 2011.
