Qing Guo

Qing Guo has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Qing started in 2015 as a Pattern Maker and Costume Designer Assistant at Artistic Sprouts Costume and gained experience in analyzing costume details and creating production patterns. In 2017, they worked as an Assistant Designer and Tailor at Josh's Tailoring and Design, where they developed new garments, altered clothing, and took measurements for alterations. Qing then worked as a Contract Fashion Designer at Too Simple Fashion in 2018, where they updated fashion accessories and samples and collaborated with photographers and stylists. Qing continued their career as an Assistant Designer at Alien Eleven in 2019, supporting various design functions and assisting in completing design patterns and 3D samples. In 2020, Qing worked as a Contract CLO3D Digital Modeler at Holubar International, modeling realistic styled garments and collaborating with an animation team. Qing also worked as an Assistant Designer at Natalya Egorova, Main Client: Ekso Bionics, where they made 3D samples, corrected and graded softgoods product patterns, and researched textiles and materials. Currently, Qing is a 3D Fashion Technical Designer at Spree3D, where they create patterns, converts flat sketches into 3D assets, and creates 3D accessories and trims.

Qing Guo began their education in 2011 at Huazhong Agricultural University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in English Language and Literature, General. They successfully completed this program in 2015. Subsequently, Qing Guo enrolled at the Academy of Art University in 2016 and completed a Master of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design in 2019. In addition to their formal education, Qing Guo obtained several certifications in various design-related fields, including Design Foundations: Physical Materials, Design Foundations: Prototyping and Manufacturing, Design Thinking: Understanding the Process, Industrial Design Foundations, and Introducing Rhino 7. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in June 2022.
