Ronald Chmara

Ronald Chmara has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ronald is currently working at Spree3D as a Senior SecOps Engineer since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Oracle from August 2017 to November 2021, where they held the positions of Senior Principal Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer in Development Operations. At Oracle, Ronald was involved in DevOps and support/engineering for operations and global applications teams, including debugging and maintaining Oracle Cloud/Chef/Docker systems builds and managing release systems for Artifactory, Jenkins, Rundeck, and more. Their work stack included Oracle OCI, Chef, Oracle Linux, Nginx, Apache, and Tomcat.

Before joining Oracle, Ronald worked at Webtrends as a Sr. Systems Engineer from March 2015 to March 2017. Ronald also served as a Release Engineer at Renewable Funding, LLC from 2014 to 2015. In addition, Ronald held roles as an SQL Applications Engineer at Agilyx from June 2012 to May 2013 and in Systems Programming at Clicky from May 2011 to May 2012.

Ronald's work experience also includes a brief role as a Systems Engineer at Care Innovations, an Intel GE joint venture, in 2012. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at G5 Search Marketing from 2009 to 2011, and as the Owner and Senior Developer at Ronin from 2000 to 2009. At Ronin, Ronald was a member of a "Zero-Day" solutions team, focusing on identifying computer security network-related risks and providing research results and detection solutions. Ronald also designed and implemented directory systems and created a meta-cart system for managing cart systems.

Earlier in their career, Ronald had a role in "Software things" at Promopeddler.com from 2006 to 2009.

Ronald Chmara attended Pima Community College from 1990 to 1994, where they studied Small Business Administration/Management. Ronald did not receive a degree during this period.
