Sonya Kashyap has a wealth of experience in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Sonya began their career in 2004 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa. In 2007, they joined the UCSF Medical Center as an Assistant Professor and Attending Physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2010, they became the Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Physician and Medical Director at Genesis Fertility Centre- A Spring Fertility Centre. In 2014, they began contributing to HuffPost as a Fertility Contributor. In 2018, they became the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Graduate Fellowship Program Director at The University of British Columbia. Finally, in 2020, they joined Spring Fertility as a Physician and Medical Director.
Sonya Kashyap obtained a B.Sc. in Life Sciences from Queen's University, followed by an MD, FRCSC, and MSc. Epi from the University of Ottawa. Sonya then completed a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
