Tom van Buskirk

Tom Van Buskirk is an experienced learning and development professional with a focus on creating and delivering effective training programs. Currently serving as People Learning Manager for the Americas at Springer Nature Group since February 2014, Tom has previously held roles including Learning and Development Manager and Manager of Training Design at Cablevision, where responsibilities included designing blended learning materials and collaborating on organizational development initiatives. Earlier in Tom's career, positions such as Senior Business Systems Analyst and Senior Instructor involved system design and curriculum development, leading to significant improvements in training completion rates and operational efficiency. Tom holds a Management Certificate from Cornell University ILR School and has also pursued education at John Jay College and Nassau Community College.
