Janelle Anne

Janelle Anne has a range of experience in creative and copywriting roles. Janelle is currently working at The SpringHill Company as a Creative Director since July 2023 and also founded their own company, Anywhere NYC, where they serve as Founder/Creative Director since February 2023. Prior to these roles, they worked at Spotify as a Creative Director from April 2020 to February 2023. Janelle also had experience in senior writer/producer roles at VICE Media from June 2017 to April 2020 and Wednesday from November 2016 to June 2017. Janelle started their career as a copywriter at BBDO Worldwide from June 2015 to November 2016 and has worked in various creative and copywriter roles at companies like Opening Ceremony, Laundry Service, and Warby Parker. Janelle also freelanced as a writer for Refinery29, Inc. from December 2011 to August 2012.

Janelle Anne attended The New School from 2014 to 2015, where they focused on Creative Writing. Janelle also studied French Language and Literature as well as French History at Université Paris-Sorbonne. Finally, they earned a BA in Literary Journalism from UC Irvine.
