Wenlin Shao

Wenlin Shao has a vast amount of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Wenlin is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Early Development Programs at SpringWorks Therapeutics. Prior to this, they held various positions at AstraZeneca, including Executive Director and Senior Global Project Leader in Oncology. Wenlin also served as the Director and Project Leader in Oncology, where they led cross-functional drug development teams and played a crucial role in the development of clinical strategies. Before joining AstraZeneca, Wenlin worked at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, where they served as a Group Leader/Senior Investigator and was a key contributor to the Oncology portfolio and strategy. Wenlin also has experience in line management and led several oncology drug development projects. Earlier in their career, Wenlin worked as an Instructor at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Wenlin Shao received a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from McGill University in 1995. Wenlin then obtained a Ph.D. in Experimental Medicine from McGill University in 2000.
