Gavin O'Driscoll

Gavin O'Driscoll is a quantitative researcher at Squarepoint Capital since October 2021. Prior to this role, Gavin served as a kdb+ and Java developer at Kx, a division of First Derivatives plc, from June 2018 to September 2021, where contributions included the development of an automated test suite and participation in high-availability features for the Kx for Sensors team. Early career experiences include positions as a kitchen porter, waiter, and bartender at The Islander's Rest Hotel, an intern in client services at State Street, and a pharmacy assistant at Bandon Medical Hall. Gavin earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Trinity College, Dublin, following education at Hamilton High School.
