Nima Guerin

Nima Guerin's work experience includes being a Software Consultant at srcLogic since 2018. In this role, Nima has served as the Cybersecurity Technical Lead for the Air Force Research Laboratories (AFRL), designing and implementing a cybersecurity application used for risk assessment and system authorization. They have also worked as a Project Manager/Technical Lead at MSM Security Services, where they led a team of developers in delivering an application for investigations and lead management. Additionally, Nima has worked as a Developer at Dynamic Organization Management Component and developed an internal recruiting application.

Prior to this, Nima worked as a Project Management Intern at Flowserve Corporation in 2017, where they developed a new system for Spare Parts and Reliability Reports and assisted in reducing department backlogs. They also worked at James Madison University, serving as a Project Manager for a student-faculty team that created a device to convert water vapor into usable water. Nima also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the Madison Engineering Leadership Program and Thermal-Fluids courses, where they led student groups, tutored engineering students, and graded lab reports. Nima's experience also includes working as a Network Engineering Intern at Shentel, where they created a network for providing cable and internet services and simplified fiber and cable information.

Nima Guerin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering and Economics from James Madison University, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech, completing their studies in 2017. In terms of additional certifications, Nima Guerin obtained the Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) certification from Pegasystems in September 2020. Prior to that, they obtained the Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification and the Certified System Architect (CSA) certification from Pegasystems in March 2018 and February 2018 respectively. Nima Guerin also holds the Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
