Sam Goldman

Sam Goldman has over 8 years of professional experience. In 2021, they began working as a Manager of Renewables at Xpansiv. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Manager of Renewables at SRECTrade, Inc., where they oversaw SRECTrade's client base, partner accounts, and participation in the Illinois SREC market. Sam also managed a team of four to seven members and oversaw SRECTrade's participation as an Approved Vendor in the Adjustable Block Program (ABP). From 2019 to 2020, Sam was a Dog Handler at Citydog! Club, where they cared for up to 30 dogs of varying breeds and sizes, and maintained play park cleanliness and safety regulations. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Dog Walker at Wag Labs Inc. From 2018 to 2019, Sam worked as a Research Assistant at Stephens Lab: Research & Education in Wildland Fire Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Sam used a sanding and varnishing process to prep over 20 tree cross section samples (cookies) to be used in the Principal Investigator’s project concerning regional fire history in Northern California. From 2013 to 2016, Sam was a Tae Kwon Do Instructor at Black Belt Academy, where they lead beginning and advanced classes of up to 20 students between the ages of 4 and 60.

Sam Goldman attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2015 to 2018, where they received a BS in Environmental Economics & Policy, along with minors in Forestry and Gender & Women's Studies.
