James Bergen

James Bergen has a strong background in research and technical roles. James started their career at Sarnoff Corporation in 1982 as a Member of Technical Staff. James then progressed to become a Senior Member of Technical Staff from 1991 to 2002. In 2003, they joined Sarnoff Corporation as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff and worked there until 2010. James has been working at SRI International since 2011 as a Senior Principal Research Scientist.

James Bergen earned their BA in Mathematics & Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1971 to 1975. Subsequently, they pursued a PhD in Biophysics at the University of Chicago, from 1975 to 1981.
