Jon Mirsalis

Vice President, Translational Development at SRI International

Jon Mirsalis has extensive experience in the biomedical and toxicology fields. Jon has held various management positions at SRI International, including Vice President of Translational Development, Managing Director of the Biosciences Division, and Executive Director of Preclinical Development. Jon has supervised large teams and managed budgets in these roles. Jon Mirsalis has also served as an Acting Vice President of the Biosciences Division and as a Corporate Officer at SRI International. Prior to their time at SRI, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Chemical Industry Institute of Toxicology, where they conducted research on chemically induced DNA alterations. Jon also worked as a Technical Instructor at the Cleveland Institute of Electronics, teaching electronics courses and designing training programs.

Jon Mirsalis earned their B.S. in Zoology from Kent State University from 1971 to 1975. Jon then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Toxicology & Genetics from North Carolina State University from 1975 to 1979.
