Anat Paz

Anat Paz is a geochemist with extensive experience in environmental geochemistry, focusing on acid and metalliferous drainage (AMD) assessment and prediction. Currently employed at SRK Consulting, Anat has previously worked at Golder, the Sustainable Minerals Institute, and The University of Queensland, where a Ph.D. was completed in Earth and Environmental Sciences. Expertise includes the design and management of geochemical programs, data interpretation, and conceptual modeling of geochemical processes. Notable research involvement includes projects on coal mine remediation and bioremediation strategies for mine waste. Additionally, experience spans teaching roles, environmental consulting, and contributions to international regulatory reviews on water management. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Soil and Water Sciences and a dual Bachelor of Science in Geology and Life Sciences.
