Monique Oldenburg has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Monique is currently the Head of Engineering at SRON Netherlands Institute for Space Research, where they lead a team of engineers in designing and developing research instrumentation and aerospace instruments. Prior to this, Monique founded Quantify, a company that helps organizations discover and utilize the untapped potential in their existing talent to achieve strategic goals.
Before founding Quantify, Monique held several positions at TNO, including Research Manager and Senior Project Manager in the Optomechatronics department. In these roles, they designed and tested mechatronical systems for optical applications, with expertise in precision mechanics and control. Monique also managed projects in the Sustainable Chemical Industry sector and the Oil and Gas sector regarding Carbon Capture and Storage. Monique has experience in managing projects in various industries, such as LNG offshore sector, physical protection against CBRN threats, and water treatment.
Monique's work experience also includes an internship at Procter & Gamble.
Monique Oldenburg completed their M.Sc or Ir. degree in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, from 1997 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained their HAVO (1990-1995) and VWO (1995-1997) degrees from CSG Westland-Zuid and later called CSG Aquamarijn.
