Joonas Kähkönen

Joonas Kähkönen is an experienced Corporate Patent Agent at SSAB since April 2019, previously serving as a Patent Agent at Kolster Oy Ab. Prior to these roles, Joonas was a Doctoral Candidate at Aalto University School of Engineering and held positions as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Colorado School of Mines. Joonas has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant at Aalto University School of Science and Technology, and managed a research project on high strength steels during an internship at OCAS Ventures. Joonas began a career in engineering as a Process Engineering Intern at Outokumpu. Joonas holds a Master of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from Aalto University.
