Steve Johnson has over 25 years of work experience in various roles in the technology and digital sectors. Steve most recently worked at SSE Business Energy as the Head of Digital Technology. Prior to that, they held positions at SSE plc, British Gas, Centrica, Virgin Media, Telewest Communications, and Sequent Computer Systems, Inc., where they held roles such as Head of Digital Technology & Innovation, Head of Digital Development, Programme Manager, Head Of IT Technical Services, Support & Operations, Head of Applications Development, Head of Client Services, Head of Technology, and Technical Consultant. Steve has extensive experience in managing digital projects, leading development teams, and providing technical expertise in Unix/Oracle environments.

Steve Johnson attended Nottingham Trent University from 1986 to 1989, where they pursued a degree in HND Computer Studies. The primary focus of their education was in the field of computing.
