Nisrine Kebir

Nisrine Kebir, Ph.D. is a seasoned professional in energy systems and management with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Senior System Planning and Investment Engineer at SSEN Transmission since September 2021, Nisrine focuses on planning a transmission network aimed at achieving net zero emissions. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the University of Oxford, where Nisrine worked on improving energy access for vulnerable populations. Additionally, a significant tenure at the Office national de l'électricité et de l'eau potable in Morocco involved various leadership roles, including Head of Supply/Demand, overseeing forecasting and energy distribution. Nisrine holds a Doctorate in Engineering Sciences and Techniques with a focus on Energy Management from Mohammadia School of Engineers, complemented by an Electrical Engineering diploma and a background in advanced mathematics and physics.
