Jay Smith

Jay Smith has a diverse work experience in the IT services and software development industry, with a focus on delivering GIS and workforce management solutions to utility and pipeline operators. Jay is currently working as a Senior Consultant at SSP Innovations, LLC since November 2020. Prior to this, Jay served as the Director of Sales Marketing at Global Information Systems LLC, where they played a key role in developing partnerships with clients and driving efficiency in pipeline integrity services and construction performance management. Before that, they worked at TRC Companies, Inc. as the Director of Commercial Operations - Integrity, managing system assessment workshops and improving profitability for the Regulatory Compliance Group. Jay also has experience as the Director of Commercial Operations - Integrity Services at Willbros Group, Inc., where they acted as a technical liaison and led business development for pipeline integrity services. Earlier in their career, they held roles as a Senior Account Manager at DigitalGlobe and MJ Harden, and as a Senior Software Sales at PII Pipeline Solutions.

Jay Smith earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Geography and Cartography between the years 1986 and 1990.
