Scott Wehage

Scott Wehage has a strong background in clinical research consulting and project management. Scott worked as a Clinical Project Management Consultant at APEX Clinical Research Consulting, LLC from January 2024 to present. Before that, they served as the Director of Clinical and Rural Health Research at St. Lawrence Health starting in January 2023. Prior to that, Scott was involved in clinical trials at bioMérieux from April 2022 to January 2023 and at Specific Diagnostics from April 2021 to September 2022. Scott gained experience in clinical project management and study management at Becton Dickinson Company (Safety Syringes, Inc.) from December 2014 to September 2022 and at Becton Dickinson from December 2014 to April 2021. Scott began their career at Johns Hopkins University as a Research Program Manager from May 2002 to December 2014. Scott also worked as a Production Manager at TrimGen Corporation from April 2001 to May 2002 and as an Assistant Director at The BioTechnical Institute of Maryland from October 1998 to April 2001.

Scott Wehage obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Salisbury University, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Scott then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biotechnology at Johns Hopkins University, from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their degrees, Scott also holds a certification in Clinical Research (CCRP) from SOCRA, which they obtained in 2011.
