Jean Aubry-Morin

Jean Aubry-Morin has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Jean worked at the Corporation de gestion de la Voie Maritime du Saint-Laurent from 2008, where they started as the Corporate Sustainability Officer and eventually became the Executive Vice President for External Relations. In 2014, they became a member of the Maritime Initiative Advisory Committee at the Council of Great Lakes Governors. Additionally, they served as an advisor and board member for the Canadian Coast Guard from 2010. Jean also held a role as a member of the Board of Directors at SODES (St. Lawrence Economic Development Corporation) starting from 2008. In 2014, Jean Aubry-Morin joined the IJC - International Joint Commission as a member of the international council for Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. Prior to these roles, they worked at Hydrogenics as the Operations Leader from 2004 to 2008, Electropac Co., Inc. as the Director of Operations from 1988 to 2003, Mitel Semiconductor Inc. at Mitel from 1980 to 1988, and Shell as a Summer Engineering Student from 1976 to 1980.

Jean Aubry-Morin has a diverse education history. From 2004 to 2007, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they obtained an Executive Certificate in Operations Innovations and Development. Prior to that, from 1995 to 2000, they studied International Business at The Open University. In 1980, Jean enrolled at Université de Montréal for their undergraduate studies in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, which they completed in 1983. Earlier, from 1976 to 1980, they attended Polytechnique Montréal, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.
