Lynn Hampton

Lynn Hampton, Ph.D., serves as the Associate Dean of Students at St. Lawrence University, focusing on student success, inclusion, and belonging since August 2025. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Kenyon College from January 2023 to August 2025, and serving as Assistant Professor of Professional Practice at Texas Christian University within the John V. Roach Honors College from August 2016 to January 2023. Lynn also held an Assistant Professor position in the Department of Sociology at Middle Tennessee State University from 2004 to 2012, where responsibilities included teaching and directing grant programs. Earlier in career, Lynn was a Research Consultant at City Year National Headquarters from 2002 to 2005, tackling issues related to staff turnover and program improvement. Lynn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Wellesley College and a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from Vanderbilt University.
