Danna Harman

Danna Harman is an experienced professional currently serving as the Associate Dean of Students at Bard College, where responsibilities include advocating for and overseeing displaced and refugee students from Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Eurasia. Previously, Danna worked as an Emergency Aid Worker with IsraAID, coordinating the evacuation of over 350 Afghans and assisting with their resettlement in various countries. Danna's extensive journalism career encompasses roles as a Features Writer and Europe correspondent for Haaretz, as well as leadership positions at The Christian Science Monitor, Jerusalem Post, and The Associated Press. Danna holds a Bachelor's degree from Harvard University and an MPhil in Islamic Studies from the University of Cambridge.
