Director Of Student Support Services at St. Louis Language Immersion School (SLLIS)

Katie Uldall-Welch has extensive experience in the education sector. Katie worked as a Director of Diverse Learners and Federal Programs at Saint Louis Language Immersion Schools from 2017 to present. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Student Support Services at St. Louis Language Immersion Schools (SLLIS) starting in 2014. In this role, Katie ensured that all students achieved positive academic and social-emotional results through a Multi-Tiered System of Supports. Katie also supervised various support staff and indirectly supported interventionists. Before joining SLLIS, they worked as a Special Education Compliance Consultant at the Missouri Charter Public School Association from January 2014 to July 2014. Katie began their career as a Speech Language Pathologist at Saint Louis Public Schools in August 2005, where they worked until May 2012.

Katie Uldall-Welch has a strong background in education, with three degrees to their name. Katie began their educational journey at Truman State University, where they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they attended Fontbonne University from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist.

Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, Katie later enrolled at Lindenwood University from 2010 to 2014. During this time, they earned another Master's Degree, this time in Educational Leadership and Administration, with a specialization in Special Education. This diverse range of degrees showcases Katie's commitment to both understanding the intricacies of communication disorders and developing leadership skills within the field of education.
