Matthew Fenty

Matthew Fenty is currently the Managing Director of Innovation & Strategic Partnerships at St. Luke's University Health Network. In this role, they lead the organization's efforts in evaluating, creating, and deploying innovative processes and capabilities across the entire enterprise.

Before joining St. Luke's, Matthew worked at Merck in various roles. Matthew built and managed external partnerships and alliances to drive innovation and collaboration in life sciences and biopharmaceutical R&D, IT, and health IT. Matthew also provided thought leadership to identify industry trends and market demands for new business development opportunities, as well as supported internal research projects with analytics expertise.

Matthew also has experience as a Business Consultant, where they advised a medical device manufacturer on launching a FDA-cleared device. Additionally, they worked at Endo Pharmaceuticals, where they developed business cases for divisional growth, provided due diligence support, and managed daily supply chain operations.

Earlier in their career, Matthew worked at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine as a Research Engineer, leading teams in medical imaging experiments for clinical applications. Matthew presented their findings in several publications and conference proceedings.

Matthew also had an internship at Elan Pharmaceuticals, where they were responsible for the test and validation of scientific instruments.

Matthew Fenty has a Bachelor's degree in Biophysics from Temple University and an MBA in Strategic Management from Temple University. Matthew did not obtain a degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
