Shannon Thompson

Shannon Thompson has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. They started their career as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse at Maine Behavioral Healthcare in 2005 and worked in this role until 2017. In 2016, Shannon joined MMP Neurosurgery and Spine as a Specialty RN-Telephone Triage, where they stayed until 2023. Additionally, Shannon worked at St. Mary's Health System, first as a Nurse Manager from 2022 to 2023, and then as the Director of Behavioral Health from 2023 onwards.

Shannon Thompson pursued their education at the University of Southern Maine, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine from 1995 to 2000. Shannon continued their education at the same institution, earning a second Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from 2001 to 2005.
