Jia Yuan Ng

Jia Yuan Ng's work experience began in 2017 when they interned with the Singapore Police Force. In this role, they developed automated data entry using VBA in Microsoft Excel and designed new processes and updated website copy to address a change in subsidiary legislation. In 2018, they joined the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and were awarded the Sword of Merit of 70th Field Artillery Officer Cadet Course and the NSF Achiever Award (Top NSF) of 117th Company Tactics Course. In 2021, they joined Quicksuite as a Frontend Developer, where they developed login and register pages with Next.js and Typescript on the frontend and Firebase on the backend. Currently, Jia Yuan Ng works as a Software Developer for Stablecorp Inc., a position they have held since 2022.

Jia Yuan Ng is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Computing in Computer Science at the National University of Singapore, which they began in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2024. In 2022, they participated in an exchange program at the University of Toronto, studying Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Prior to this, they attended Nanyang Junior College from 2016-2017, where they obtained a Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level. Jia Yuan also plans to attend the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2023. In addition, they have obtained a number of certifications, including Orbital - Apollo 11 (Advanced) from the National University of Singapore in 2021, a Professional Diploma in Leadership and People Management from Workforce Singapore in 2020, and an Advanced Certificate in Team Leadership from Workforce Singapore in 2019.
