At AVcom d.o.o., Karlo was responsible for Linux and Windows servers. Karlo performed administration, troubleshooting, installation, P2V, partition re-size, backup, and migration tasks. Karlo also setup and administered HP Blade servers with 3Par storage and VMware vCentar with HA. Additionally, they installed ESXi on blade servers, licensed and configured them, and setup Common Provisioning Groups and Virtual Volumes.

Karlo has also worked with VoIP systems. Karlo has experience with Topex EoneS and SSW, ISDN PRI, PSTN analogue lines, asterisk, trixbox, billing, integrations, interconnections, call termination from international to local, backup, administration, security, new user setup, and new company setup. Karlo has also communicated with international VoIP providers such as RATEL and RNIDS.

Lastly, Karlo has experience with CTV systems. Karlo is familiar with digital and analogue receivers, set-top boxes, multiplexers, multiswitches, encoders, decoders, modulators (Wisi, Polytron), digiatal to anologue (Grunding), analogue to digital Cisco DCM, Cisco RFGW, cabling, administration, setup, and troubleshooting.

Karlo Butigan Markovic has a high school diploma in general studies from West Side High School. Karlo also has a business certificate in business from NFTE National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship. Karlo is currently pursuing a degree in information technology at Queensborough Community College.
