J.C. Hernandez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. They began their career as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving at Roosevelt University in 2004. From there, they worked as a Legislative Aide at Dutko Worldwide, LLC in 2007. In 2008, they became the Director at Barry University.
In 2010, Hernandez took on the role of Executive Director at the Republican Party of Miami Dade County. They then joined the Romney for President campaign as the Regional Political Director from 2011 to 2012.
After that, Hernandez worked as a Government Relations and Issue Advocacy Consultant at JCH from 2013 to 2014. They then served as the Director of Coalitions at The Leadership Institute from 2014 to 2016.
From 2016 to 2022, Hernandez was employed at Americans for Prosperity, where they held the position of Grassroots Liaison, Health Care + VA state director.
Since 2022, Hernandez has been working as the Director, Health Care at Stand Together.
J.C. Hernandez earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Roosevelt University in 2004. Afterwards, they attended The George Washington University and completed a Master of Professional Studies in Political Management in 2016.
