Ray Finch

Ray Finch has a diverse work experience spanning over many years.

Currently, Ray is working as a Principal DevOps Engineer at Standvast Fulfillment since January 2023. Before this, Ray held the same position at red violet, starting in October 2021.

Prior to that, Ray worked at Infoblox as a Staff DevOps Engineer from August 2019 to October 2020. Ray also served as a Senior DevOps Engineer at zulily from September 2017 to August 2019.

Ray's earlier roles include Senior Systems Engineer I at Marchex from March 2015 to September 2017, Senior Systems Administrator at Avue Technologies Corporation from June 2012 to March 2015, and Integration Engineer at MorphoTrak from July 2010 to June 2012.

Before transitioning into the technology field, Ray worked as a FileNet/Sovera System Administrator at Davita from June 2005 to July 2010. Ray also gained experience as a System Administrator at Equator from May 2004 to June 2005.

Ray's career started as a Mathematics Instructor at Highline Community College from September 2002 to June 2005.

Ray Finch has an extensive education history. Ray obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington from 1989 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematics from Portland State University from 1987 to 1989. Additionally, Ray obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from Portland State University from 1985 to 1986.

In terms of certifications, Ray has obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Ray obtained the AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification in June 2020. In February 2021, they acquired the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification. Prior to that, in June 2016, they earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification. Lastly, in February 2018, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
