Luay Jaber

Luay Jaber is a Machine Learning Researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine, focusing on developing NLP models to analyze medical records for vision acuity and dementia-related abnormalities, while also leading projects in computer vision and predictive analytics for ophthalmologic diseases. In addition, Luay serves as a Data Scientist at BriefBox, where scalable data pipelines and statistical models are being developed to extract business insights from large datasets. Previous experience includes a role as a Data Science Specialist at the University of California, San Francisco, and co-founding Art Van Furniture of Rockford as Chief Technology Officer. Additionally, Luay held the position of President at Wireless & Beyond, establishing franchise relationships and advising on expansions. Luay's educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science and an Executive Master's in Software Engineering and Data Science from The University of Texas at Dallas, along with an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Computer Science from Auburn University at Montgomery.
