Ava Acevedo

Ava Acevedo serves as the Operations Director and Core Leader for the Green Schools Campaign since June 2020, while concurrently holding various leadership roles in organizations such as Stanford Women in Politics and Stanford in Government, where responsibilities include education and community engagement. Ava is also actively involved in Mariachi Cardenal de Stanford as Social Chair and a performer, and contributes as a co-writer and co-host for The Periphery. Recently, Ava participated in governance at the Associated Students of Stanford University and completed internships with Public Citizen and Stanford Internet Observatory. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy at Stanford University, Ava's foundation in education was established at Lodi High School, where attendance spanned from August 2018 to June 2022.
