Allan Kiang

Allan Kiang is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and commercial affairs. Currently serving as the Senior Associate Director for Licensing and Strategic Transactions at Stanford University since November 2024, Allan previously held roles such as Sr. Managing Counsel for Strategic Commercial Affairs at Align Technology and Vice President of Legal at Slingshot Biosciences. Earlier positions include significant legal roles at Roche, BD, and Seminis Vegetable Seeds (Monsanto), among others. Allan's educational background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in Intellectual Property Law from The George Washington University Law School, complemented by dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
