Joon Sung Park

Joon Sung Park is a dedicated computer science professional currently serving as a Research Assistant at Stanford University's Computer Science Department since September 2020, collaborating with Professors Michael Bernstein and Percy Liang. Previously, Joon completed a Research Internship at Microsoft Research in mid-2020 and held research assistant roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Stanford University. Joon received notable accolades, including the Microsoft Research PhD Fellowship and the Terry Winograd Fellowship, as well as the 2019 Siebel Scholar Award. Joon holds a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Swarthmore College. Besides academic pursuits, Joon co-founded Galamingo and gained early experience as an intern at The National Assembly of The Republic of Korea and as a Student Ambassador at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
