Alska Scherer

Alska Scherer is General Counsel and Vice President of Corporate Services at Star Alliance, and is based in Frankfurt. She oversees the legal and financial framework for the Alliance’s dealings, as well as the recruitment and development of the Alliance’s culturally diverse employee team in Singapore and Frankfurt.

Alska was previously the Alliance’s Senior Legal Counsel and a specialist in competition law. A veteran of the Alliance since 2005, she rose through the ranks and developed broader leadership skills not only in legal work, but also change leadership and human resources management.

Alska trained in law at the University of Trier in Germany and the University of Bergen in Norway, and also has a masters degree from the University of Lund in Sweden.
