Hiral Shah

Hiral Shah has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They started their career as a CA Articleship at M/S Gautam Ray in Kolkata from September 2007 to August 2010. Following that, they worked as an Associate Consultant at Ernst & Young from July 2011 to February 2012.

Hiral then joined Tata Motors in August 2012 as a Finance Manager, responsible for various financial tasks such as internal controls implementation, capex evaluation, annual operating planning, treasury and cash management. They worked in this role until March 2016.

After Tata Motors, Hiral joined EY as a Senior Consultant and worked on providing risk-based internal audit services, SOX and ICFR implementation, and process improvement services. They actively contributed to the development of new solutions, acquiring new clients, and identifying service opportunities. Their tenure at EY lasted from March 2016 to July 2018.

Subsequently, Hiral joined Star TV Network, initially as a Manager - Audit from July 2018 to April 2021, and then as a Senior Manager - Audit from April 2021 to June 2022.

Currently, Hiral is the Head of Internal Audit at Starbucks India, a position they have held since June 2022.

Hiral Shah completed their education in a chronological sequence. They first attended Sacred Heart Convent School from 1991 to 2005, where they obtained their 12th degree with a focus on Economics and Accounts. After completing their schooling, Hiral Shah went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Honours at Jadavpur University from 2005 to 2008. Subsequently, from 2005 to 2010, they attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained their Chartered Accountant degree with a specialization in Accounting and Finance.
