Paulo Baldin

Paulo Baldin has worked in various roles in the information security and data privacy space since 2005. Paulo's most recent role was as the Head of Information Security (CISO) & Data Protection and Privacy (DPO) at STARK BANK, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Cyber Risk Manager at Alvarez & Marsal (2020-2022), a Plenary Manager of Information Security & Data Protection and Privacy (DPO) at Banco Carrefour (2019-2020), a Senior Expert Forensic (Data Privacy & Data Analytics & Cyber Security & IT Audit) at EY (2018-2019), an Internal Auditor of Technology/Information Security Brazil and Latam at Natura (2016-2018), and a Manager Information Security - SAP Security & GRC AC Consultant/IT Audit, Supervisor Information Security - SAP Security & GRC AC Consultant/IT Audit, Senior Information Security - SAP Security & GRC AC Consultant/Audit Systems, Consultor Segurança da Informação/Auditoria de Sistemas, and Trainee Segurança da Informação/Auditoria de Sistemas at PwC (2008-2016). Paulo also held roles as an Analyst of Support and Infrastructure - Junior Structure at Dock (2007-2008) and as an Intern of Informatics at Topema Cozinhas Profissionais (2005-2007).

Paulo Baldin has a diverse educational background. In 2003, they obtained a Licenciatura da Computação from Centro Universitário Fundação Santo André, focusing on Tecnologia. Paulo then returned to the same school in 2008 to obtain an MBA - Sistemas de Informação (Foco Segurança da Informação) in Tecnologia - Segurança da Informação. In 2011-2012, they completed a Formação de Gerenciamento de Projetos e Governança Corporativa at Kasolution. In 2022, they are expected to obtain a Cybersecurity degree from FIAP, a Gestão de Infraestrutura de TI degree from FIAP, and an MBA em Cybersecurity e Cybercrimes from Universidade Anhanguera São Paulo. In addition, Paulo Baldin has obtained various certifications from institutions such as Bitdefender, BSI Training Academy, Hacker Rangers, CertiProf, SkillFront, LEC - Legal, Ethics & Compliance, and Itcerts Inc.
