Rob Young

Rob Young is a seasoned software engineer with a robust background in financial technology, currently serving as Software Engineer in Financial Crime at Starling Bank since October 2023. Prior to this role, Rob held various significant positions including Vice President of Equities Technology at Citi, Onboarding Architect for Mobile Digital Banking Proposition at HSBC Commercial Banking, and Agile Lead at Lloyds Banking Group. With extensive experience as a Delivery Manager at HSBC Global Banking and Markets and various consultancy roles at GFT and Rule Financial, Rob has built a comprehensive skill set in software engineering, agile methodologies, and banking technology. Rob holds a degree in Software Engineering from Aberystwyth University, completed in 2010.
